Here is my favorite favorite favorite new stamp set (Yummy In My Tummy #143623) in the Occasions Catalog. (at least for now until my new stamps get here this week...!!)
Eek! aint he cute!
and can we talk about how AMAZING our new Watercolor Pencils are ?!?! I love coloring. And I love the different textures you can get by using a colored pencil (looks like Fur right?!!) and then you add a little bit of water to them with an aqua painter and you get a fun watercolor look too!
To get the "furry" look I went in after watercoloring, before the paper dried and added a little more color with the pencil. It melts right into the damp paper ... heaven!
And because we LOVE this little guy so much, I just had to show you another one :)
EEEK!!! Right?!?! Love LOVE LOVE LOVE Love this little guy and his alien friends!
For this one, instead of the watercolor pencils I watercolored the old fashioned way, Just added a dot of ink (from my reinker) onto my sil-mat and added some water from my aqua painter. I prefer this instead of using the inkpad lid. I can add more water and create different shades of the ink color by pulling ink into a puddle and adding more water. If you don't have a sil-mat, you can use wax paper! :)
I masked off the aliens. They were my favorite to color. They remind me of Slimer from Ghostbusters. For the balloons, I used our Balloon Punch.
Thanks for joining us today!! I hope you keep going, Jen is next and she has some really amazing stuff to check out!!

Boy do we have a great blog hop for you today. Birthday Birthday Birthdays! I am so excited I don't even know where to start!!
This Card...oh how I LOVED making this!!
These are new products from the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration catalog.
I'm in LOVE with everything!
As y'all know, I love all things wonky. So this was fun to create even though it's pretty simple!
White accents colored with a Sharpie make all things matchy matchy.
White Perfect Accents, glimmer paper, and a stapler could anchor this fun sentiment!
Ha! Let's Taco 'Bout how AWESOME this stamp set is!!!!!
I love Taco Tuesday, Stampin' UP! and T-shirts....so EVERYTHING about this card!!!
Coloring and water coloring are all the rage these days. Call me a purest, but I still use my stamp pads and Aqua Painters to water color. You just give your stamp pad a good squish, (while it's closed!) and when you open it up there's a splotch of ink on the lid. Dip your Aqua Painter in the ink and use it like a paint brush! For subtle color or larger surfaces, I squeeze some extra water out of the AP and let it pool in the lid with the ink.
You could just as easily get a re-inker, add a drop into a palette with a drop or two of water and then use the Aqua Painter to color your image. either way is easy peasy!!
Thanks for stopping by! Here are the products used in today's card

I have a new obsession.
Crocheting!! Specifically C2C (corner to corner) Graphgans.. So I decided since I can't snuggle that handsome little baby in person, this will just have to do!
And who doesn't love a good snuggle with a newborn baby in a sweet blanket?!
Here's my gift to you sweet friend!
I am so almost done with this bad boy....haha But little Micah came a little ahead of schedule, so it's coming friend!
You know you love Stampin' Up! and your BFF when you make little man a baby blanket using Stampin' Up! colors!
Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, and Rich Razzleberry
And what SSInk blog hop would be complete without a card?!
I used the Positively Chevron background stamp and my trusty markers to create the Island Indigo and Pear Pizzazz chevron (on watercolor paper of course!!) Then I markered the Razzleberry in between and then used an Auquapainter to blend the colors.
I Heart Chevrons!!
I hope you love your secret gifts friend. We love you!! And I can't wait to see more of that squishy faced perfect little human that you brought into this world!
If you're just joining us, head on over to Diana's page next!
This morning I'm guest posting over at SSInspiration for March Madness! Click here: to see the post
I'm happy to report that currently, I am sitting on top of the leaderboard at my house.
Apparently I'm super good at picking Bball teams.....so even though my Wolverines have taken a seat...I'm still very much in the game!!
In honor of March Madness, Here's a peek at the Hub's Father's Day card
Totally breaking my retired IU stamp out for this one. I carved it a long time ago, and even though it is a far cry from perfect....I really do love it :)
Sorry about my sad little basketball....lets be totally honest, I had a hard time making this while watching basketball....I really need to stop doing that.
have a blessed day!
Hope your bracket is still intact!!
And if not: Join ESPN's TC Second Chance bracket before Thursday's tip off ... you can still impress your friends with picking the rest of the way out....like my family will have to do...since they're all BUSTED!!

Nothing says love like hearts, red/pinks, and a puppy :)
I LOVE coloring...its no secret...and I love coloring for my loved ones even more!!
I broke out an "old skool" stamp set from our main catalog. It's been a while since I used it, so I wanted to mix it up and add it to an Occasions set to mesh old and new :)
I just LOVE this little pooch! He looks positively adorable staring off into the distance....and look how cute my girl is staring at her little puppy!! :)
Yes, I have a back story of these two if you really must know. haha
Thanks for stopping by today.

I am sure by now, unless you're NOT a social media person, that you have heard of Stampin' Up!'s very own Shannon West and her quest to "bring birthdays back"
She decided that social media was sucking the lifeblood out of birthdays and special occasions (my words, NOT hers!) and that it was time to do something about it.
She created an awesome handcarved stamp that says #imbringingbirthdaysback
and challenged people on Facebook to reply to her post with their birthday and address so she could Bring Back the Birthday Card and send people a handmade card!!
Check out the video HERE and see her explain her campaign!
So people like me...have decided HECK YEA!!
We're totally jumping on this bandwagon.
I have started my own campaign, reaching out to my customers, followers, strangers, family, and friends. ANYONE who wants a handcrafted birthday card just need to give me a date and an address....and the card will be queued up and ready to ride the Pony Express that month!
Here is a shot of last week's batch of cards. Yes, I still handwrite all my addresses and hashtags :)
Click here to add your name and birthday to my list!!
If you want to start a campaign of your own, look up #imbringingbirthdaysback...check out the fun and frenzy. Start now and become a card blessing to your family and friends.
Don't wanna give, just want to receive? That's okay! Find someone (or as many someones as you want!) who is giving, comment on their (mine too!) pages and just sit back and patiently wait for your mailbox to explode on your special day.
